Each and every one of us has special interests and talents that can be put to work to benefit Illinois agriculture. We need your help, please become a volunteer today.

Volunteer your time & talents

  • Become a local volunteer for Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom
    • Contact your local Ag Literacy Coordinator to find out what the needs are in your county. You might help with classroom visits, host a field trip at your farm, or volunteer time to help with a local fundraiser. You can find out more by contacting your local County Farm Bureau office.
  • Become an IAITC Golf Outing event volunteer
    • Event day volunteer – volunteers helping out the day of the event will be outside most of the day and will interact with golfers. Volunteer tasks include: setting up auction & banquet areas, registration, hole contests, and clean up.
    • Prior to event & post event volunteer – if you would like to help with the golf outing but cannot come to Pontiac, IL there are several projects that can be completed at the IAA Building in Bloomington, IL. These projects include stuffing bag tags, sending out brochures, sending out thank you notes, confirmation notices, etc.
  • Become an IAITC Bike Ride event volunteer

    • Event week volunteer – The IAITC Bike Ride is a traveling event so volunteers helping will need to travel to the event location. Volunteers are needed to drive support vehicles to help cyclists if they break down. Are you an avid rider? Do you know the Bike Ride area from a cyclist’s perspective? You could help plan safe and enjoyable routes for all riders! If you are from the participating counties you may contact your local county Farm Bureau to become involved at that level too!

  • Become an IAA Foundation office volunteer
    • The IAA Foundation has several large office projects that occur throughout the year. These include special mailings and events.
