Bike Ride LogoThe IAA Foundation staff and cyclists of all ages joined together for the Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom’s 16th annual Bike Ride from September 5th-7th this year.  Traveling over 500 miles in 3 days, cyclists and IAITC supporters spread the message of agriculture to almost 5,000 students in 27 area schools by playing an interactive game called the “Cash Commodity Challenge.”  Students enjoyed this educational activity that taught them about where their food, fiber and fuel come from.  The presentation concluded with cyclists sharing meaningful bicycle safety advice and showing students some of the specialty bicycles used in the ride.
