  • Jo Wenzel, Pearl City Elementary School, Pearl City, Stephenson County, was selected as the 2009 IAITC Teacher of the Year.  A fourth grade teacher, Wenzel and her students engage in "Exploration Monday" activities that frequently involve the students working with some new and unique form of agriculture.  Wenzel also engages her students in unique writing and journaling activites.  Congratulations Jo!
