A total of $121,500 in tuition support to 66 deserving students was announced today!  Find the complete list of winners here.  Congratulations to all of our 2016 Scholarship Recipients!  It is an honor and a privilege to support so many bright and deserving young students through our growing and diverse scholarship program.  We will witness the future of the agriculture industry through these students, and it’s a great thing to say we were a part of it. 


Rachel HawkCongratulations to IAA Foundation Legacy of Leadership Scholar: Rachel Hawk

Entering her junior year at University of Illinois, Rachel is studying Agricultural & Consumer Economics.  From Aledo, she is the daughter of Mark and Shelly Hawk, who, along with Rachel, are members of the Mercer County Farm Bureau.  Rachel was selected for this distinguished honor for her leadership qualities and well-rounded academic experience.  For her accomplishments, Rachel will receive a $7,500 scholarship.  We think it’s a great investment in the future of agriculture! 


Andrew JohnsonCongratulations to IAA Foundation Top Scholar:  Andrew Johnson

Entering his freshman year at University of Illinois, Andrew plans to study agricultural business.  A native of Champaign, he is the son of Scott and Kim Johnson, who are members of the Champaign County Farm Bureau.  Andrew was selected for this top honor out of more than 330 applicants, and for his accomplishments, will receive a $5,000 scholarship.  We think it’s a great investment in the future of agriculture! 


WillowCongratulations to IAA Foundation Top Scholar :  Willow Krumwiede

Entering her sophomore year at University of Illinois, Willow is studying agricultural education.  A native of Pittsfield, she is the daughter of Tim and Lisa Krumwiede.  Willow is a member of the Pike County Farm Bureau.  Willow was selected for this top honor out of more than 330 applicants, and for her accomplishments, will receive a $5,000 scholarship.  We think it’s a great investment in the future of agriculture! 


Alyssa VollandCongratulations to IAA Foundation Top Scholar:  Alyssa Volland

Entering her senior year at the University of Illinois, Alyssa is studying pre-veterinary medicine.  From Tinley Park, she is the daughter of Randy and Lisa Volland, who are members of the Cook County Farm Bureau.  Alyssa was selected for this top honor out of more than 330 applicants, and for her accomplishments, will receive a $5,000 scholarship.  We think it’s a great investment in the future of agriculture!
