No, Handbid offers both an app & a web version, so you can bid from your computer or phone’s web browser if you prefer. We do recommend the app for the best user experience if using a mobile device.

To bid, find the item on the auction platform & select “Bid Now” to place a bid. If you prefer to let the Handbid bid for you, select “Set Max Bid” and enter the maximum bid you’re willing to place. The platform will then bid for you up to that amount.

Items on the app are sorted by category. By swiping left & right, you can scroll through categories & view the items under each.

Depending on if you’re using the app or web version, you will either receive a push notification or text if you’ve been outbid. Just follow that link to place a higher bid!

Extended bidding is turned on. This means that any bid placed in the last minute of the auction will extend bidding on that item until a full minute lapses with no bids.

No need to be present at IFB Annual Meeting, you can support ag literacy from anywhere! Most items will ship directly to you unless otherwise noted. No guarantees you will receive any shipped item by Christmas. 

Bidding closes on Sunday, December 7 at 4:30pm. At that time, Handbid will notify you of any items you may have won. Please pay your invoice online or contact the IAA Foundation to pay via cash or check.

If you are present at IFB Annual Meeting, items can be picked up in the Exhibit Hall on Sunday from 4:30-5pm or Monday from 8am-12pm.

If you are not present, items will be shipped to you unless otherwise noted. No guarantees you will receive any shipped item by Christmas. If you prefer to pick up your items at the IAA Office in Bloomington, please notify us by Wednesday, December 10. We will let you know when your item is ready for pick up (most likely the week of December 15-19).
